Rob Gignac is an accomplished hockey executive with extensive experience in hockey operations, player recruitment, athlete development, and organizational leadership. During the 2024–25 season, he was recognized as the EOJHL General Manager of the Year, named the EOJHL First All-Star Team General Manager, and guided the Ottawa Junior Canadians to a Barkley Cup Championship.

Throughout his career, Rob has built a reputation for identifying and evaluating talent, developing competitive rosters, and creating meaningful opportunities for athletes to advance to the next level. His approach combines strong player advocacy with an extensive network of coaches, scouts, team executives, and decision-makers across junior, collegiate, and professional hockey.

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gignac Lajoie Sport Management (GLSM), Rob works closely with athletes and their families to provide honest guidance, personalized development plans, recruitment support, and long-term career management. His philosophy is centered on building lasting relationships, maintaining open communication, and ensuring every athlete receives the support, resources, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential both on and off the ice.

Christian Lajoie is the Managing Partner and Director of Scouting & Development at Gignac/Lajoie Sport Management (GLSM). With experience as a General Manager, Head Coach, Scout, and hockey operations across North America and Europe, he has built a reputation for developing players, supporting organizations, and creating high-performance environments.

Christian's coaching journey began in his hometown of Cumberland, where he started behind the bench with the Cumberland Dukes at 17 years old. He has since progressed through the organization to the AA level and later expanded his experience in AAA and Juniors, moving into leadership roles with organizations including the Hawkesbury Hawks, Alexandria Glens, Ottawa Canadians, Hershey Cubs, and HCMP Bouquetins in France Division Pro League, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the game from grassroots hockey to the professional level.

At GLSM, Christian is passionate about strengthening hockey at every level by combining player development with organizational excellence. He believes successful programs are built on integrity, strong relationships, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Through player development, hockey operations consulting, coach education, scouting, and strategic partnerships, his goal is to help organizations create meaningful experiences and lasting success for players, coaches, families, and the communities they serve.
